MJ Kidz Integrative Group Services

Our Integrative Group Services will focus on functional observation reported by parents and/or guardians as well as observation by the therapist during group sessions. Groups focus on a variety of skills including:

  • Joint attention and parallel play

  • Cooperative play and turn-taking skills

  • Requesting from friends

  • Answering and asking questions

  • Reading body language

  • Listening skills and following group directions

  • Proximity

  • Complimenting/receiving compliments

  • Being a good sport

  • Initiating and exiting a conversation

  • Staying on topic and switching topics of conversation

  • Joining a group

  • Self regulation

  • Emotional Regulation and coping skills

  • Perspective Taking

  • Working as a team

Our trained clinicians apply Zones of Regulation® and Social Thinking® concepts. Each session addresses social-language skills through a combination of direct instruction, role-playing, games, crafts, and interactional play to enhance the acquisition and performance of social skills.

Please note, in order to ensure our groups are inclusive of all populations and communication styles, we do not accept insurance for group sessions. Rates vary depending on length of group session.
